Living your yoga
Workshop with Athina Saltiel
How can we “live yoga” beyond our mats?

Living Your Yoga is a workshop on yoga philosophy and mindfulness meditation, inspired by Judith Lasater’s book, “Living your Yoga: Finding the Spiritual in Everyday Life”. During the first part we look to foundational texts of Yoga philosophy, especially the Yoga Sutra of Patanjali, so as to explore the ways that yoga philosophy can be applied to our everyday life beyond the time we spent on our yoga mats or our meditation cushions. During the second part we practice walking meditation and sitting mindfulness meditation exploring the technique that leads to inner stillness and quietness of the mind, body and spirit, and eventually leads to inner peace and a deeper understanding of ourselves.
